Your voice.
Your computer.
Open anything, hands-free.
Say the wake word and Nook does it — apps, games, timers, volume, screenshots. Most commands run on your PC, offline, and your microphone audio never leaves the device. Trickier requests get real reasoning.

Why Nook
Fast where it counts. Smart when it matters.
Most of what you ask happens locally and instantly — no round-trip, no cost. The AI only steps in for the hard stuff.
Local & instant
Open apps and games, control volume and media, set timers, take screenshots, do quick math — all offline, all private, no waiting.
Understands what you mean
Ambiguous or multi-step request? Nook works out what you actually want — real reasoning and natural conversation — then acts on your PC.
Private by design
Speech is transcribed on your machine with offline Whisper. Your microphone audio never leaves your device.
What it does
It doesn’t just open apps.
It writes, and it helps.
Say your wake word — “Hey Nook”, “Hey Jarvis”, or whatever you pick — and go. Or start a conversation and just keep talking.
Stuck on something? Just ask.
A maths problem, an error message, a form you don’t understand — ask about whatever’s in front of you and Nook answers from it. It looks only when you ask, and nothing is kept.
It types into your apps
Ask for an essay, an email, a reply — it writes it and puts it straight into the document you’re already in.
Answers from the web
News, scores, prices — current, and short enough to listen to.
It remembers
Refer back to an earlier chat and it knows what you mean.
Windows, monitors, media
Move a window to your second screen, minimise it, set the volume to exactly 30, close every app at once — all offline and unlimited.
Open anything
Apps, Steam and Epic games, folders, 65+ sites by name.
Updates itself
New features just show up. Nothing to reinstall.
Pricing
Try everything free for 7 days.
Pick a plan and your first 7 days are free — full access, nothing charged until day 8. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing. Local commands are unlimited on every plan; plans differ by how many AI commands (the ones that need AI) you get each day.

Windows will warn you the first time. That’s expected.
You’ll see a blue box saying “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. Two clicks, once, and you’ll never see it again on that PC.
It appears because Nook is new and not code-signed yet — the certificate costs a few hundred dollars a year, which a beta can’t justify. Windows shows this for every unsigned app until enough people have installed it. The full explanation, including what to do if your antivirus blocks the download instead.
Your voice stays on your device.
Nook transcribes what you say locally, using offline Whisper — your microphone audio never leaves your computer. No audio, ever.
How to get past the Windows pop-up.
- On the blue “Windows protected your PC” box, click More info
- Then click Run anyway
That’s it, once per PC. Nook is new and not code-signed yet, and SmartScreen warns about any program it hasn’t seen downloaded many times. It’s a reputation notice, not a detection.
The installer is built with Inno Setup and installs just for you, so it never asks for admin rights. Rather skip the installer, or your antivirus blocked it? The portable ZIP is the same app. Unzip it and run Nook.exe.
